Eucharistic Congress: The Parish Rep is Mr Jack Brogan.
June 10-17. During the Congress Gardiner St church will be a 'Congress Church' so we will welcome pilgrims to visit the church and for some prayer each day. Our Sacred Heart Novena will link into the themes of the Congress.

The Spring Adult Faith Series will take place on the theme of 'Reconciliation'. At 8 – 9 p.m. Suggested donation €5 per session.
Feb 21: Reconciliation with Myself – Sr Therese Larkin IBVM; Feb 28 – Reconciliation with Others – Fr Brian Lennon SJ.

The ideal place of baptism is in the local parish where the parents of the child live. This is their introduction to the church in their locality and a way of being inserted into their parish. We would like to honour this hope of the Church, so only in exceptional circumstances will children be baptised in Gardiner Street Church who are not of the parish here, or whose parents worship elsewhere.

The Novena of Grace was first introduced to Ireland in Halston St. Parish in 1712 by Fr Cornelius Nary PP. Generations of parishioners have come with their petitions for these nine days of special prayer. March 4th-12th. The speaker will be Fr Paul Coutinho SJ from Mumbai, India

Ash Wednesday: February 22nd. Masses at 8.30, 11 and 1. Ashes will be distributed during all Masses. Ashes may be got in the sacristy after Mass for bringing to the sick and housebound. Please bring an envelope or container.

Temperance Sunday, 19th February. 11 am Mass will be offered by the Pioneer Association. The PTAA is an organisation to promote spiritual welfare and pray for people who have a problem with addiction. There is a long association with the parish for over 100 years, and the association has been in the care of the Society of Jesus since its foundation by Fr Cullen in this church. Fr Reynolds this morning will be presented with his Gold Pioneer Pin at this Mass.

Friday March 3rd: How Big Is Your God? Public Lecture by Fr Paul Coutinho SJ, 7.30 pm in the Church. Fr Paul is from Mumbai and St Louis USA, where he ministers in Ignatian Spirituality. He will also give a lecture in St. Ignatius, Galway on February 28th. On Friday March 2nd there will be no 7.30 pm (First Friday) Mass in teh church due to the public lecture.
