Weekly Newsletter - 12th May 2024

Dear parishioners,

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather while it lasts!

Fr. Niall and Fr. Richard are on an 8-day silent retreat, so keep them in prayer.

This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Ascension of Jesus, which means that we have been in the Easter Season for 40 days already. It's a time in the liturgical year when the power of the resurrection is palpable. Next Sunday we will celebrate another big feast, Pentecost Sunday. Let us prepare prayerfully for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. And if you want to learn how to grow in the Spirit in your daily life, join us for the Life in the Spirit seminar!

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR

8th April to 20th May 2024

We had a beautiful evening of the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit last week. Our sixth session of the Life in the Spirit Seminar is on Monday, 13th May at 7pm in Ignatian Chapel.

The topic for this evening is Growth in the Spirit and we will have Ryan and Danika Clear lead us through the evening. Ryan and Danika, ever since they met, knew that the Holy Spirit was going to play an important role in their relationship, as He made His presence felt from the very beginning. A few weeks ago they celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Ryan and Danika are part of the Living Water community that meets weekly in Dublin.

We will have “Finding new life in the Spirit” booklets available for €5 per copy, with Scripture readings for each day. There was no charge for the seminar, but if you wish to make a donation towards the cost, you can do so on the evening.

Join us on Monday, 13th May and learn how to grow in the Spirit!

All are welcome.
