Weekly Newsletter - 24th March 2024

Dear parishioners,

I hope this finds you well. The year seems to be flying by and it is hard to believe that we have already reached Passion Sunday. We know that the story ends well, but today we take a deep breath and ready ourselves for the sorrowful drama of Holy Week. We will go through it together.

Every blessing,

Fr Niall

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR

8th April - 20th May 2024

Mondays, 7pm

Life in the Spirit Seminar is a 7 week journey that helps us to get to know the Holy Spirit better. Most of us have a relationship with Jesus, we more or less relate to God the Father, however the Holy Spirit can appear like a forgotten person from the Holy Trinity. And yet a deep love that God has for us is often experienced through the Holy Spirit.  In confirmation we receive the Holy Spirit in particular, but His gifts in us need to be activated. The astonishing stories we read in the Acts of the Apostles still happen today, when people allow themselves to be led by the Holy Spirit. How? Come and find out! Come and discover what beautiful gifts the Holy Spirit has for you. Let yourself be surprised by the astonishing love of God!

We start on Monday, 8th April at 7pm in Ignatian chapel. Niall and Billy, from Northern Ireland, will share about the love of God the Father, and then will take time to pray for those who attend. Some of you experienced prayer through gifts of the Holy Spirit for the first time last year when they came to speak on the opening night of the Life in the Spirit Seminar. I remember so many of you being blessed with words God told you through them.

Even if you have attended Life in the Spirit Seminar before ,be free to join us. There is always more with God!
